When I was in my youth I loved to sketch, my father was so thrilled and proud of my artistic abilities. During my school years he would encourage me to take art classes.

When I was in my youth I loved to sketch, my father was so thrilled and proud of my artistic abilities. During my school years he would encourage me to take art classes. 

He inadvertently changed my career direction when he employed me at a summer job in construction and as many sons have done, I followed in my father’s footsteps in the civil engineering construction industry. It is only after my retirement that have I risen to the challenge of rekindling that God given talent that has been dormant for so many years! My passion for creating original art has since flourished.

I would characterize my style of art as modern folk art.  

I create peaceful scenes of rural life and nature, capturing quiet moments with vibrant colors and thoughtful detail. My work invites reflection and warmth, blending rustic charm with tranquil landscapes to bring calm and connection into any space.
